About Me

I'm married to my best friend and we have four very happy and active children. I love crafting and making things. I began sewing when my second daughter was around 4 months old. I don't always love the process of sewing but I do love the satisfaction I get from a completed project and the amazed looks on people's faces when they here I made something they just complimented. There is a certain thrill in it where I hold my breath for a second to see what sort of expression will next grace their face. That makes all the hair pulling out totally worth it.

I believe I can make nearly anything with the proper tools. I am what you would call a jack of all trades. One things I can't do though is dance. I think it might be because I have trouble following directions. I am very much a visual learner. I have a natural ability to figure things out on my own so I tend to take that approach toward everything.

I am a total South Park fan but I also love British Comedies like "Red Dwarf", The Mighty Boosh", "Doc Martin", "Are you being Served". In fact when I really want to get crafting I'll put on "Are You Being Served?" and then head in the other room and sew. Yep, I don't even have to watch it. Just hearing it on in the next room makes me want to sew.

Ok honestly I think my about me page stinks. Help me make it suck less by asking me some questions. I'll try to answer what I can. Post them here or email them to me. :-)
